Review guidelines
Reviews on UrgentCareLocations are email-verified and checked by a person before they are published. Here is what we publish and what we do not.
What we publish
- First-hand experiences only. You, or someone in your care, visited the clinic.
- Specific and factual. What happened, when, and how it was handled: wait time, staff, cleanliness, billing.
- Respectful language. Criticism is welcome; abuse is not.
What we reject
- Reviews of a clinic you never visited, second-hand stories or rumors.
- Personal attacks, profanity, discriminatory remarks or threats.
- Accusations of crimes or malpractice stated as fact. Those belong with your state medical board or the authorities.
- Your own or anyone else's health details, and personal information about staff or other patients.
- Promotional content, competitor attacks, or reviews written by the clinic itself.
Corrections to a listing (closed, moved, wrong phone number, not an urgent care) are welcome too. We use them to fix the listing instead of publishing them as reviews.
How it works
- You write a review and give your email address.
- You click the confirmation link we email you.
- A moderator checks it against these guidelines, usually within 2 business days.
- Published reviews appear on the clinic's page. If we cannot publish yours, we email you the reason and you may write it again.
Email confirmation shows that a real person wrote the review. It does not prove that the writer was a patient. Clinics that manage their listing may post one public reply to each review; replies follow the same standards.
