    I brought my 13-year-old son in yesterday because he was very congested, had a sore throat and one very red eye that hurt him and had yellow discharge and a film over his iris. I am not a doctor but I knew it was not allergies. The nurses aid who took his vitals and asked questions was very knowledgeable and seemed so understand the problem. However the nurse, Charlene Williams, who came in to see him said it was allergies. He tested positive for strep throat so she wrote a prescription for amoxicillin, the only medication he is allergic to. I questioned her and she changed it. She told me to let her know if his eye was matted when he woke up. This morning his eye was matted shut so I called but there was no way to get ahold of anyone until 3pm. I do not recommend this urgent care at all.
