    I figured I had a sinus infection in that I've had sinus infections before and was familiar with the symptoms. At Urgent Care, I saw Kirsten Dailey. She said that I just had seasonal allergies and that the 5 days of fever I experienced was the result of a shingles vaccination that I had received 6 days prior. She offered no treatment plan and told me to come back in 5 - 7 days if I was still ill and had a fever. The next day I was able to see a doctor. The doctor's examination resulted in a diagnosis of a sinus infection. The doctor prescribed a treatment plan and medication. After 2 days on the doctor's treatment plan I am starting to feel better. I hate to think of what condition I would be in if I had waited another 5 - 7 days with before seeking additional medical help.
