UCLA Health Malibu Immediate Care & Primary Care

This is not an urgent care center like every other urgent care I've ever been to across the country. I took my daughter in for stitches on her chin in June of 2020. We were billed $1400 for what costs a tenth of that at every other urgent care we've been in. After 14 months of appeals, UCLA billing informed me that because she had never been seen by that doctor, they had to charge $725 to enter her information in as a new patient. Deciding to give her stitches was apparently a "detailed medical examination requiring a moderate medical decision" that bumped her up to a LEVEL FOUR office visit. Save your money and drive through the canyon to a real urgent care that charges reasonable base rates.
